Amid a worldwide pandemic, my collaborator, Megumi Iwama, and I made a Dance Film. I understand now it was born from a desperate and emotional need to create. Our feelings were raging within us, and with our conventional creative spaces closed, we decided to make our own on screen. 

 

The process felt easy, unlike the rest of the year. Our thoughts and movement phrases came about quickly, and our Videographer, Eric B. Photos, captured it all brilliantly.​
